Becoming a Member

Benefits you get as a member:

Uplift India Association is supporting Uplift India Association’s member Organizations by providing the following activities;

Uplift - activities setup and follow-up Support:

· Financial Tools and Systems setup

· Product and Processes design

· Common Resources Network Support

· Back office Management Systems

· Software Setup, IT Support and Maintenance

· Web Based Services

· Research and Statistical analysis

· Business Plan and Accounting Systems

· Benchmark setting and quality control

· Governance Systems -design and implementation

· Community Education and Empowerment

· Social Performance and Quality

· Project Personnel and Management Training

· Fund Raising Support (grants, equity or loans)

· Human Resources

Member Orgaqnization is a member of Uplift India Association and by this membership applies for assistance when required, in implementing and managing the activities listed here above.

Membership

Any organization that shares the vision of ‘Enriching Lives of the Poor…together’, and works in the following areas for minimum period of two years and are signatories of the common Charter can become a member of UpLift India Association.

UIA has one type of members: Membership by shareholding.

The organization needs to buy 1000 shares priced at INR 10 each.

The share amount is provided by the member organization to UIA who in turn provides the organization with a Share Certificate on signing a transfer deed.

Incase the member organization ceases to be a member or does not want to be a share holder, it transfers the share certificate back in the name of UIA, in the event of which, UIA refunds the share amount to the member organization
