Mission

The Community based Health Mutual Fund programme (HMF) has been initiated with a view to smoothen the financial shock that a family may face due to unexpected health event through the mechanism of community risk pooling where solidarity and responsibility to ones’ health are the guiding values. It seeks to create a demand led provision of quality health services and intends to build the basis upon which inclusive and equitable social protection policies can be initiated.
